Physical Therapists

Jeff Zelenski, PT, MPT, OCS, CFMTJeff Zelenski, PT, MPT, OCS, CFMT
Outpatient Therapy Manager; Physical Therapist

Jeff has been with Enloe Medical Center since 1997. Jeff provides outpatient care for Enloe Outpatient Therapy and oversees services. Jeff graduated from California State University, San Bernardino 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. He received his Bachelor of Science in health science and Master of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 1997. Jeff became a certified Functional Manual Therapist with the Institute of Physical Art with honors in 2004. In 2006, he became a board certified Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Jeff has also completed numerous continuing education courses in Orthopedics and Manual Therapy. He also has experience teaching in his field. He worked as a teacher assistant with Institute of Physical Art, which provides continuing education nationwide with an emphasis of manual therapy and orthopedics. He assisted in teaching continuing education classes on manual therapy for post-graduate physical therapy students at Integrative Manual Therapy Solutions. Jeff and his wife Christy, also a physical therapist, live in Chico, Calif., with their three wonderful children Kyle, Kelsey and Kiefer. In his spare time, Jeff is active coaching all three kids’ basketball teams.

Outpatient Therapy Supervisor; Physical Therapist

Dustin strives to help his clients achieve their full potential for their goals. He has been with Enloe Medical Center since 2007 and around the PT profession since he became a physical therapy aide in 2000. Dustin earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2007 at Loma Linda University. He was on the dean’s list and earned the Faculty Award for outstanding potential and promise in the profession and the Fred B. Moor Award for outstanding clinical performance during training. Dustin has since completed numerous continuing education courses, including Certification in Functional Manual Therapy with the Institute of Physical Art, with honors in 2008, advanced spinal manipulation (majority osteopathic-based), visceral manipulation and neural manipulation (Barral Institute). In 2018, he became a board certified Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Dustin is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, and California Orthopedic Physical Therapy Special Interest Group of the CPTA. He is an instructor for the Institute of Physical Art in Colorado, teaching other physical therapy professionals annually. Dustin and his wife, Sagan, have one boy, Kastyn, and a golden Labrador, Mia. Together they enjoy camping, hiking and traveling.

Outpatient Therapy Supervisor; Physical Therapist

A native of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Jay combined his interest in sports with science, and received his bachelor’s in exercise and sports science from the University of Wyoming in 1996. He earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado in 1999. He has completed numerous continuing education courses in orthopedics and manual therapy and has devoted his career to working in the outpatient orthopedic setting. In 2016, he became a board certified Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. He has been privileged to be part of the Enloe Outpatient Therapy team since 2008 and is blessed to work in a setting where he is able to deliver quality, compassionate care and put patients’ needs first. He continues to enjoy sports and has been active in coaching his two children in soccer and basketball as well as regularly following the San Francisco Giants and Denver Broncos.

Brad Baber, PT, MPTBrad Baber, PT, MPT
Physical Therapist

Brad graduated from the venerable Chapman University in 1996 with a Master of Physical Therapy and began his physical therapy career working in hospital and inpatient rehabilitation settings, but developed a passion for treating orthopedic injuries in the early 2000s. He has been studying manual therapy techniques since then, receiving most of this instruction from the Institute of Physical Arts. Brad enjoys spending time hiking, camping and playing various sports with his family.

Dr. Spencer Blair, PT, DPTDr. Spencer Blair, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Spencer is a native of Fairfield, Calif., and attended California State University, Chico, where he received a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology. He continued his education in Los Angeles, earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences. After graduation, Spencer and his wife returned to Chico, Calif., and he has been privileged to work at Enloe since 2015. With prior experience in hospital and inpatient rehabilitation settings, he continues to work with patients who have neurological and orthopedic conditions. Spencer loves to teach and is a certified clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. He has aspirations to receive his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist credential while frequently taking opportunities in continuing education around the country to better serve his patients and community. Spencer is a huge sports fan. He follows the Los Angeles Lakers, San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers. Spencer also enjoys travelling with his wife, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new eateries.

Dr. Karma Boyer, PT, DPT, COMTDr. Karma Boyer, PT, DPT, COMT
Physical Therapist

Karma earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah, in 2007, after many years working as a physical therapist and having earned her bachelor’s in biology from Pacific Lutheran University (1993) and her bachelor’s in physical therapy from the University of Washington in Seattle (1997). She began as a contract physical therapist in Mississippi, Ohio and South Carolina. Karma and her husband then moved to Chico, Calif., for its friendly climate and proximity to mountains, cities, and a university. At the Enloe Rehabilitation Center, she worked primarily with patients with neurological conditions. To develop skills in orthopedic physical therapy, she transitioned to outpatient physical therapy and became a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars. Karma spent five years as a home health physical therapist, and learned to appreciate challenges people face in the home. Back at Enloe since 2015, Karma is thrilled to be at Enloe Outpatient Therapy, treating people with orthopedic and neurological challenges. In her free time, she has a small photography business, and enjoys traveling, hiking and eating good food with her husband.

Dr. Jordan Colby, PT, DPTDr. Jordan Colby, PT, DPT, OCS
Physical Therapist

Jordan graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Missouri State University in 2009 after completing his Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology from California State University, Chico, in 2005. Jordan has completed courses with the Institute of Physical Art, the International Academy of Orthopaedic Medicine, The McKenzie Institute International and Evidence in Motion. In 2018, he became a board certified Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Jordan's professional interests include providing manual therapy and exercise interventions from a diverse background of treatment philosophies. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He is particularly passionate about treating runners and cyclists. Jordan was a high school and collegiate distance runner and continued to compete in the marathon and half marathon distance until taking up cycling. He now gets his endurance fix by road and mountain bike racing with a local cycling team. Jordan and his wife, Greer, who is also a Physical Therapist with Enloe Medical Center, have three children.

Physical Therapist

Cade started his career at Enloe Outpatient Therapy in 2011. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Samuel Merritt University that same year, and his Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology from California State University, Chico, in 2008. Cade enjoys helping patients recover from any type of injury, however his professional focus is orthopedic conditions. Cade enjoys participating in recreational sports, outdoor activities, and likes to spend as much time as possible with his wife, Ayla, and their dog, Cali.

Erin Edwards, PT, MPTErin Edwards, PT, MPT
Physical Therapist

Erin attended the University of California at Davis, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in physiology in 1987. She received her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 1994. Erin has worked at Chico Community and Enloe Medical Center for 21 years, starting in the acute rehab setting for 10 years and transitioning to the outpatient setting. She has experience working with neurologically involved individuals, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injury. She received Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation certification as well as training as a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults. She works extensively with individuals with various balance dysfunctions and provides comprehensive evaluations for medical equipment, including custom manual and powered wheelchair and seating systems. Erin is the mother of three boys. Her oldest is currently a student at San Diego State University. In her spare time Erin enjoys exercising and accompanying her husband and two younger boys as they play competitive travel baseball.

Dr. Joe Griffith, PT, DPTDr. Joe Griffith, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Joe received a Bachelor of Science in exercise biology with a minor in psychology from University of California, Davis, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, San Marcos (Calif.). He received advanced training in manual therapy, and his clinical training includes working with high school, college and professional athletes. Joe practiced in San Diego and Humboldt counties before accepting a position at Enloe Medical Center. Joe has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of orthopedic injuries as well as pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, and has further expanded his education and training in orthopedic rehabilitation by studying with some of the top practitioners and educators in the world, such as Kevin Wilk, Brian Mulligan and Mike Reinold. Joe’s interest in physical therapy began as an injured high school athlete, and he continues to enjoy working with athletes and non-athletes alike to help them achieve their physical goals. His dedication to his patients is demonstrated through his goal-oriented and individualized approach to rehabilitation. Outside of work, Joe has coached Bidwell Junior High and local AAU basketball teams and participates in CARD athletics.

Dr. Kelsey Hall, PT, DPTDr. Kelsey Hall, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Kelsey has been with Enloe Medical Center since mid-2016. She attended the University of Evansville (Indiana) where she received her Bachelor of Science in exercise and sport science. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Missouri State University. After graduation, Kelsey moved away from the Midwest and landed in the great city of Chico, Calif. Kelsey works primarily with neurological and vestibular patient populations. In March 2016, she received competency in vestibular rehabilitation. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys discovering the beauty of Northern California.

Physical Therapist

Eric has worked for Enloe Medical Center since 1996. He received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine (Missouri) in 1993. Eric’s experience includes teaching continuing education courses throughout the country and in Canada in the field of functional capacity evaluations, and he has trained with some of the most highly skilled manual therapists in the country to achieve his Certified Functional Manual Therapist designation from the Institute of Physical Art in 2007. Eric has taken significant post-professional training in spinal manipulation through the Spinal Manipulation Institute. He deeply appreciates the privilege of working with patients as well as with co-workers he highly respects. He is also a big fan of MMA (mixed martial arts).

Dr. Alexa Janicki, DPT, IPNFADr. Alexa Janicki, DPT, IPNFA Certified Therapist
Physical Therapist

Alexa graduated from California State University, Chico, in 2012 with her Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology and from CSU Sacramento in 2015 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She has worked with both orthopedic and neurologic patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. Alexa completed a nine-month residency program at Kaiser Permanente Vallejo studying the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation technique (PNF), an approach developed in the 1940s for patients with neurological diagnoses. Additionally, she has her 200-hour yoga teacher certification. As a physical therapist, Alexa is eager to provide education and tailor her treatment to help patients achieve their personal therapy goals. In her spare time, Alexa enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking and traveling.

Dr. Ray Klepper, PT, DPTDr. Ray Klepper, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Ray has been part of the Enloe Outpatient Therapy team since 2015 but has been practicing as a licensed physical therapist in Butte County since 2012. Ray received his bachelor’s degree in human development from UC Davis in 2007 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, San Marcos (Calif.) in 2012. There he practiced advanced manual therapy for both the spine and extremities. Recently, Ray has been focused on learning more about the different manual therapy approaches. He enjoys working with the entire patient population and is comfortable evaluating and treating many conditions, including orthopedic and neurological problems as well as chronic pain where traditional physical therapy has failed. Outside of work, Ray enjoys spending time with his wife and three children as well as cooking, golfing and participating in other outdoor activities and sports.

Dr. Allyson Kotalik, PT, DPTDr. Allyson Kotalik, PT, DPT, OCS 
Physical Therapist

Ally received her Bachelor of Sports Science degrees in exercise physiology and psychology and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ohio University, where she received the Director’s Award for scholarship and social service. Following graduation in 2010, she moved to Chico, Calif., and worked at a small private practice and in acute care, per diem. Ally began an 18-month APTA-accredited residency program in orthopedic specialization to increase her manual therapy skills and diversify treatment strategies through study with leading researchers from around the country. She worked briefly in skilled nursing and home health settings before arriving at Enloe in a full-time position in inpatient rehabilitation in 2014. In 2015, Ally transitioned to Enloe Outpatient Therapy. Her passion is restoring functional movement to improve the quality of all patients’ lives. In 2019, she became a board-certified Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. Ally enjoys outdoor activities and constantly pushes herself athletically. She enjoys Crossfit, obstacle course racing, kayaking, SUPing, hiking, yoga and many other activities. She is always looking for a good challenge and enjoys the journey to reaching new goals with her friends and family. She is an avid Ohio State fan. In 2019, she became a board certified Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Lisa Lamberti, MPTLisa Lamberti, MPT
Physical Therapist

Lisa has been working at Enloe since 2005. She earned her Master of Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s in Los Angeles after graduating from California State University, Chico, with a bachelor’s in exercise physiology. Soon after earning her master’s, Lisa attended continuing education courses at Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic medicine for further training in manual medicine and cranio-sacral therapy. For over 15 years, she has been using these techniques to treat people of all ages including infants as young as two weeks. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys playing outdoors and cooking delicious food with her two young boys and husband.

Dr. Erik Otterlei, PT, DPT, SCSDr. Erik Otterlei, PT, DPT, SCS 
Physical Therapist

A native of Union City, California, Erik attended California State University, Chico, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 1999 before receiving his Master of Physical Therapy from California State University, Sacramento, in 2003. Erik has been a part of the Enloe family of therapists since 2005. He has an extensive therapy background working with both orthopedic and neurologic patient populations, taking a special interest in high school and collegiate athletes. In 2013, Erik achieved his Doctor of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona and in 2019 earned the status of Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. Outside of Enloe, Erik enjoys spending time with his family, watching/playing sports, fishing, and has been active in our community mentoring and coaching youth athletes, including dedicating his time as an assistant basketball coach for Pleasant Valley High School since 2015.

Carl Pelletier, PT, MPTCarl Pelletier, PT, MPT
Physical Therapist

Carl received his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell in 1991 after receiving a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Carl started his career in Florida and then became a “traveler” and worked throughout the country in many different settings, finally landing in Chico, Calif. Carl has worked for Enloe Outpatient Therapy since 1998, treating a variety of orthopedic conditions using manual therapy. Carl has also received training as a “back to golf” practitioner, specializing in golf rehab and fitness. Carl is married with two kids who are interested in baseball and golf. Carl is also a member of The Knights of Columbus and the Elks, and has served on non-profit boards of directors.

Dr. Jake Premis, PT, DPTDr. Jake Premis, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Jake has worked at Enloe Medical Center since October 2011. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the esteemed Missouri State University. Before physical therapy school, Jake earned his Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Kansas. Jake primarily works with orthopedic patients. Currently he is a certified clinical instructor in order to prepare physical therapy students for clinical practice. In his spare time, Jake enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, barbequing and watching sports; he particularly likes the Kansas Jayhawks, KC Royals and KC Chiefs.

Dr. Greg Retzer, PT, DPT, OCSDr. Greg Retzer, PT, DPT, OCS
Physical Therapist

Greg has been part of the Enloe team since 2017. He grew up in Chico, Calif., from age 10. He went on to Pacific Union College, earning his Bachelor of Business Administration 2004. After six years in the Marine Corps Reserve and a short bout as a sworn police officer in Red Bluff, Greg found is passion for physical therapy. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2009. After graduation he worked in a private-practice physical therapy clinic, working on mastering his skills in orthopedics, and in 2016 became a board-certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. Greg is a credentialed clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. His interest in physical therapy began as a patient, after multiple knee surgeries and appreciating how important it can be to return to one’s hobbies and lifestyle. Greg especially enjoys working in orthopaedic and sports settings and has had the opportunity to work with both the Chico Outlaws and Chico Heat baseball teams. In his spare time, Greg enjoys playing golf, softball and roller hockey; photography; drawing; and watching and rooting for local sports teams (Sharks, Giants, 49ers).

Physical Therapist

A Bay Area native, Rebecca received a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science at UC Davis, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University. She practiced in the Bay Area before accepting a position at Enloe. Rebecca has received advanced training in manual therapy and orthopedics through orthopedic residency and fellowship programs. She is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. Her clinical training includes working with high school, college and professional athletes. She enjoys being an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and teaching and mentoring other physical therapists. Rebecca’s interest in physical therapy began as an injured middle school athlete, and she continues to enjoy working with athletes and non-athletes alike to help them achieve their physical goals. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys gardening, cooking, watching sports, traveling, and hiking.

Physical Therapist

Jon received his Master of Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia in 1990. After working at a large teaching hospital in North Carolina and then on the Navajo Nation in Arizona, he moved to Chico, Calif., in 1997. His career at Enloe has focused on orthopedic manual therapy, receiving most of his training from the Institute of Physical Art. Jon enjoys camping, hiking, gardening and spending time with his wife and two children.

Kitty Sos, PT, MPT, GCS, NCS, CEEAAKitty Sos, PT, MPT, GCS, NCS, CEEAA
Physical Therapist

Kitty earned her Bachelor of Science degree in animal physiology from UC Davis in 1989 and her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1991. Part of the Chico Community Hospital and Enloe family of therapists since 1991, she joined Enloe Outpatient Therapy in 2001 and has also worked in inpatient rehabilitation and as a supervisor in acute rehabilitation. Kitty is a board certified geriatric clinical specialist and neurological clinical specialist. She received competency in vestibular rehabilitation and is a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults. Certified in manual lymphedema treatment–LeDuc Method, Kitty has worked extensively with cancer patients in the community. She is well versed in working with neurologic patients, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, chronic-progressive neurological disease, vestibular dysfunction, balance issues and equipment ordering for custom manual and powered wheelchair and seating evaluations. Kitty is active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and special interest groups-Neurology, Geriatrics and Oncology. Outside of work, Kitty enjoys spending time with her family, house boating and competitive wake surfing with her husband and two daughters. She also mentors and coaches youth athletics.

Dr. Matt Thomason, DPT, OCS, CFMT, FFMT, FAAOMPT, CMPTDr. Matt Thomason, DPT, OCS, CFMT, FFMT, FAAOMPT, CMPT
Physical Therapist

Matt is a native of South Carolina, where he graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s in financial management, and the Medical University of South Carolina with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He practiced physical therapy in White Plains, New York while his wife completed her education as a physical therapist. Returning to South Carolina, Matt completed an Orthopaedic Functional Manual Therapy fellowship at the Institute of Physical Art, training with Tim Crunk, PT, DPT, MS, OCS, CFMT, FAAOMPT. He became a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and a Certified Functional Manual Therapist, passing the exam with distinction. In Steamboat Springs, Colo., he completed a Fellowship of Functional Manual Therapy under the direction of Gregory Johnson, PT, FFCFMT, FAAOMPT, and Brent Yamashita, PT, FFMT, FAAOMPT. Matt has been recognized as a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapists. Additionally, he has advanced certification with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Matt travels the country to teach continuing education with Comprehensive Manual Therapy Seminars and the Institute of Physical Art. He lives in Chico, Calif., with his wife and two children.

Dr. Rachael Thomason, PT, DPTDr. Rachael Thomason, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Rachael Thomason received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 2005. She then ventured to New York to study physical therapy at New York Medical College. She graduated in 2009 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy. Rachael has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, home health and inpatient at a hospital. Her main focus now is outpatient orthopedics and women’s health. She has taken several continuing education courses in treating pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, pre/postnatal problems, and biofeedback. Currently, Rachael works part time at Enloe Outpatient Therapy and covers at Enloe Medical Center on the weekends. She moved to Chico, Calif., in April 2016 with her husband, Matt (also a physical therapist), and two boys, Luke and John. In her spare time, Rachael enjoys running, taking her boys to the creek and parks, and exploring Chico.

Nell Weast, MPTNell Weast, MPT
Physical Therapist

Nell graduated from California State University, Chico, in 1993. She pursued her post-graduate license in Dietetics at Oregon Health Sciences University and received her Master of Physical Therapy at Wichita State University. Nell has been working at Enloe since 2000. She gained her manual therapy skills primarily through Stanley Paris and the Institute of Physical Art. Nell is continuing her education with Upledger and Michigan State University in advanced cranio-sacral therapy. Her time spent with each patient is hands-on, and she takes pride in helping patients succeed. Nell enjoys all patient populations. She and her husband, Jeff, are blessed to have two sons. They spend many weekends on the soccer field. The beach is a favorite family getaway.

Dr. Randall J. Brown, PT, DPTDr. Randall J. Brown, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Randy has worked at Enloe Medical Center since 2003. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy and Master of Health Sciences degree and obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010 from A.T. Still University. Randy is Blankenship-certified in functional capacity evaluations. Other education includes an engineering degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1982. Randy grew up in Chico, Calif., then moved away from the area for 25 years. He lived in Charleston, S.C., Charlottesville, Va., and in the Northeast. Randy enjoys travelling with his family and is an avid stamp collector. He is an outdoor exerciser and has a rich history of running, coaching and road race managing. He was a contributing author to “The Everything Running Book” (2012).

Physical Therapy Assistant

Nanci received her Associate in Arts Degree as a physical therapist assistant from De Anza College, one of the first two colleges in California to offer a Physical Therapist Assistant Program. As a physical therapist assistant, Nanci has extensive experience in orthopedics, including total joint replacement, hand therapy, sports injury and spinal problems. She has worked as an interim clinical director and a clinical coordinator of clinical education; is a credentialed clinical instructor and has over 15 years of experience as a clinical instructor. Nanci has been a part of the Enloe team since 2007 years. Outside of work she has her private pilot’s license and loves to travel.

Occupational Therapists

Megan Kester, MOT, OTRMegan Kester, MOT, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist

Megan received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at California State University, Sacramento, in 2013. She then moved to Texas to study Occupational Therapy at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. During her time at there, she had the opportunity to work with numerous clinicians in various setting to gather a greater understanding of occupational therapy. Following her academic study, Megan went on to complete a 12-week internship in inpatient rehab, developing skills necessary to increase a patient’s safe return to their prior level of function. She also completed a 12-week internship in hand therapy. Megan joined Enloe in March 2017. She has continued to develop her skills, attending the American Society of Hand Therapists national conference. She enjoys camping, hiking, swimming and going on adventures.

Hillary Premis, OTR/L, CHTHillary Premis, OTR/L, CHT
Occupational Therapist

Hillary received her Bachelor of Science in life sciences from Indiana State University. She studied at the University of Indianapolis and received her master’s degree in occupational therapy. During her last year of graduate school, Hillary completed her fieldwork at the prestigious Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. She was then recruited by Enloe Medical Center as a part of the Earn-to-Learn program. In 2010, she relocated to Chico, Calif., to begin her employment at Enloe. Hillary is a certified Saebo Clinician and is able to custom-fit and train individuals on how to use Saebo orthotic devices to increase functional use of their hands. In addition, she is a Certified Hand Therapist and has her Advanced Practice in Hand Therapy as well as Physical Agent Modalities. Hillary has completed extensive continuing education training in multiple areas: stroke, brain injury, neurological deficits, pediatrics-sensory integration issues and hand therapy. She enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, biking and kayaking.

Diona Wikum, OTR/L, OTDDiona Wikum, OTR/L, OTD
Occupational Therapist

Diona is a native of Chico, Calif., where she received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from California State University, Chico, in 2011. She went on to earn her Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Pacific University in Hillsboro, Ore. She completed her fieldwork in a neurodevelopmental pediatric clinic in Portland, Ore., focusing on age 0 to 21 years with a wide range of diagnoses and developmental impairments. She finished her next fieldwork at Enloe Medical center in acute care. Diona completed her doctoral internship in early intervention and her doctoral capstone project in program development. Diona wrote and designed a stress management program for parents in the neonatal intensive care unit. She is passionate about treating her patients from a holistic perspective with a focus on helping them return to meaningful occupations. She currently works at Enloe Outpatient Therapy, treating pediatric and adult patients with neurological conditions.

Amber Vistart, M.A., CCC-SLPAmber Vistart, M.A., CCC-SLP
Speech Therapist

Amber has been working at Enloe Medical Center since 2010. She earned her master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from California State University, Chico, and is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Amber has extensive experience with swallowing disorders and is certified in use of the Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile. In addition to using standardized assessment tools for swallowing, Amber has received training and clinical experience in myofascial release and other manual techniques for treatment of dysphagia (swallowing impairments). Amber is pursuing becoming a Board Certified Specialist in Swallowing (BCS-S). In addition to dysphagia therapy, Amber provides high-quality, personally tailored speech and language rehabilitation and habilitation, cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation, fluency therapy, and voice rehabilitation for adults and children. Amber is actively involved in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and encourages use of balanced nutrition options, which aids in her ability to provide quality, enjoyable food choices when alternative diet textures are recommended due to a swallowing impairment. Amber is an advocate for functional-based therapy that is personalized to meet the patient’s goals and welcomes family involvement whenever possible.
