Heart Care
Enloe’s Trusted Heart Program
Heart conditions are serious — and they’re common. In the United States, heart disease — just one of several heart issues — affects hundreds of thousands of people. In Butte County, about 7% of residents live with the condition.
Your heart health matters. When it needs care, the trusted caregivers at Enloe Medical Center combine leading-edge technology with heartwarming care, so you can jump back into life, without skipping a beat. Long live you!
Using leading-edge technology, our experienced heart specialists can treat an array of heart issues including:
- Heart attacks
- Cardiovascular disease, also known as heart disease
- Cardiac heart failure
- Arrythmias
- Coronary artery disease, also known as coronary heart disease
- Heart valve diseases
- And more
They can also help keep your heart healthy through regular checkups at our two Cardiology Services clinics.
A Comprehensive Program
Enloe Medical Center takes a multidisciplinary approach to cardiovascular care to best serve you. Our comprehensive Heart Program offers:
A Distinguished Program
Others have taken note. In fact, Enloe has one of the best heart programs in the North State. The medical center is also a STEMI Receiving Center, a designation that only goes to those hospitals that can treat severe heart attacks.
Healthgrades, the leading resource that connects consumers, physicians and health systems, recently awarded Enloe Medical Center its 5-Start recognition for heart attack treatment. It’s no wonder thousands trust our expert cardiologist doctors. See how Enloe caregivers Christopher Massa, M.D., and Miguel Puig, M.D., made an impact on a former patient — and heart attack survivor — in this powerful Story of Excellence. Hear from both Dr. Massa and Dr. Puig and the patient.

Improving Heart Care
But we’re not stopping here. To improve cardiac care in the North State, Enloe built the Starmer Cardiovascular Care Center inside Enloe Medical Center. A gift of the Enloe Volunteers, the state-of-the-art facility helps meet the region’s growing needs for heart services. The beautifully designed space doubled Enloe’s capacity for cardiac treatment and includes new procedure rooms, equipment, and a new diagnostic treatment area.
