Attend a Support Group

Enloe also offers several support groups for those facing cancer and other conditions. Gatherings are free and many take place every month. Drop by to gain insight on wellness topics and meet other cancer survivors in an atmosphere of encouragement and hope.

Learn more about these gatherings and other events in our quarterly Get Connected newsletter. The Cancer Center also keeps a list of in-person, telephone and online support groups, including cancer survivor support groups. For more information, call (530) 332-3856.

Move with Healthy Steps

Gentle exercise can help you regain range of motion, increase flexibility, reduce swelling, and promote positive self-image during treatment and afterward. Plus, it’s fun! See for yourself by attending our Healthy Steps class. It features gentle, easy movements that can be done sitting or standing.

Healthy Steps takes place Mondays from 6-7 p.m. and Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at the Fountain Medical Plaza, 251 Cohasset Road, in Chico, in the Fountain Medical Conference Room. All classes are free with a $10 materials fee. Pre-registration is required. For more information, call (530) 332-3856.

Note: To help keep our community safe during the COVID-19 situation, these classes are being postponed until further notice.
