Surgery is the primary treatment for breast cancer. But there are other options as well, including chemotherapy, hormone therapy, radiation therapy, drug therapy and clinical trials.

Caregivers use several leading cancer-fighting techniques, including partial breast radiation therapy, which targets radiation to only the tumor and can reduce the side effects of radiation.

The trusted surgeons at ECBC will explore the best options for your situation and perform diagnostic and therapeutic treatment, upon referral. If you’re in need of breast surgery, our caregivers can also refer you to a plastic surgeon for breast reconstructive surgery. If you meet the criteria and want reconstruction, that can even be done when your mastectomy surgery, the removal of your breast, or lumpectomy, the removal of breast tissue, is performed. Or it can be done at a later date after your recovery if you prefer.

After completing your treatment plan, our team will coordinate follow-up visits with your:

But we don’t stop there. You will also receive a written cancer survivor care plan after chemo, so you can continue to thrive. This holistic, personalized care is just one of the reasons ECBC stands out among other breast cancer treatment centers.
