Treating Breast Cancer
Surgery is the primary treatment for breast cancer. But there are other options as well, including chemotherapy, hormone therapy, radiation therapy, drug therapy and clinical trials.
Caregivers use several leading cancer-fighting techniques, including partial breast radiation therapy, which targets radiation to only the tumor and can reduce the side effects of radiation.
