Enloe Scholarship Helps Future Doctors With Local Roots
CHICO, Calif., Feb. 10, 2026 – Medical or osteopathic students with ties to the North State have an opportunity to earn Enloe Health’s Invest in the Future Scholarship.
The Invest in the Future Scholarship is available to applicants who graduated from a high school in Butte, Glenn or Tehama counties or from California State University, Chico, who aspire to practice medicine in the area.
Chosen applicants will be awarded up to $3,000. The number of scholarships will be determined when all applications have been received. Multiple recipients may be selected.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is April 1. Recipients will be announced by April 30. The scholarship is administered through the Enloe Health Recruiting department.
“Enloe Health remains committed to fostering the next generation of physicians,” said Sean Maiorano, D.O., Enloe Health’s Chief Medical Officer. “This scholarship program continues to provide support for local students who are dedicated to advancing medical care in our region.”
Applicants must be attending an accredited medical or osteopathic school or an ACGME accredited residency program within the United States.
Applicants must provide a completed application, cover letter, two letters of recommendation, proof of acceptance or good standing in a medical or osteopathic program, and curriculum vitae.
