Enloe Health Foundation Hosts Annual Golf Tournament to Benefit Cancer Supportive Therapies, Nursing Scholarships
CHICO, Calif., Sept. 8, 2026 – The 41st annual Enloe Health Foundation Golf Tournament presented by Meriam Park Community will take place Sept. 11 at Canyon Oaks Country Club in Chico. Proceeds will support the Enloe Health Supportive Therapies program and fund two nursing scholarships.
The Supportive Therapies program helps provide patients with services that complement traditional medical care and promote comfort, strength, and healing. These services offer patients and their loved ones additional support during what can be a physically and emotionally challenging time.
“Supportive therapies are an important part of caring for the whole patient, helping people facing cancer find comfort, strength and healing alongside their medical treatment,” said Elizabeth Cadd, Director of the Enloe Health Foundation. “This tournament is a meaningful tradition that brings our community together to support important services and also create educational opportunities for Enloe nurses as they continue to grow in their careers.”
The golf nursing scholarship is awarded each year to two highly qualified Enloe nurses as they continue their education. These two scholarships are among 25 the Foundation gives each year to promote a skilled, competent and engaged staff who provides compassionate, quality care.
Since launching in 1986, the Enloe Health Foundation Golf Tournament has raised more than $3 million that has been used to support programs, equipment and facilities benefitting Enloe Health patients.
The success of the Enloe Health Foundation Golf Tournament is thanks to the many sponsors, players, and volunteers who generously give their time and support. For a complete list of sponsors, visit www.enloe.org/golf.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., followed by brunch at 9:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 11 a.m. An outdoors awards ceremony reception will conclude the tournament at 5 p.m.
