Enloe Health Donates $10,000 to Paradise High School Football Team Ahead of Unity Bowl in Hawaii

CHICO, Calif., Sept. 1, 2026 – Enloe Health donated $10,000 to the Paradise High School football team to support the Bobcats as they prepare for a meaningful trip to Maui, Hawaii, where they will face Lahainaluna High School on Sept. 5.
The game, known as the Unity Bowl, will bring together two communities that have experienced devastating wildfires: Paradise, which continues to rebuild after the 2018 Camp Fire, and Lahaina, which was impacted by the 2023 Maui wildfires.
“We’re incredibly grateful for this donation. We knew how healing football was for Paradise High School and the whole community, and we had heard that about Lahainaluna High School. We knew right away we had a lot of things in common,” said Paradise Principal Christina Voigt. “Our communities are building back up around football.”
Enloe Health’s contribution will help cover travel-related expenses for the team as players, coaches and school leaders make the trip to Hawaii for the historic game.

Paradise High School and Lahainaluna High School have described the Unity Bowl as an opportunity to create lasting bonds between their schools and communities.
This donation demonstrates Enloe Health’s commitment to standing alongside Paradise as recovery from the Camp Fire continues, recognizing that the impacts are still felt throughout Paradise and the surrounding North State. The matchup is about more than football. It is a chance for student-athletes to build friendships, honor resilience and celebrate the strength of communities coming together in support of one another.
