Enloe Health Enloe Medical Center Named Among Best Regional Hospitals
Medical Center Earns Recognition for Sixth-Straight Year
CHICO, Calif., Sept. 24, 2025 – U.S. News & World Report ranked Enloe Health Enloe Medical Center as a Northern Sierras Best Regional Hospital for the sixth consecutive year. The medical center placed No. 55 out of 413 hospitals evaluated in California. This year, only 504 hospitals in 49 states were recognized as Best Regional Hospitals. That’s fewer than 11% of the 5,000 hospitals U.S. News & World Report analyzed nationwide.
Enloe Medical Center was also rated as high performing in 11 adult procedures and conditions — the top distinction U.S. News gives for Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings. These 11 procedures and conditions are in addition to the 2025 High Performing Hospital for Maternity Care distinction received in December 2024.
Enloe Medical Center earned recognition for:
- Heart failure
- Colon cancer surgery
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Hip replacement
- Hip fracture
- Kidney failure
- Knee replacement
- Leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma
- Pneumonia
- Stroke
- Diabetes

Year after year, Enloe Medical Center continues to increase its rating as high performing for several procedures and conditions, with seven in 2022, eight in 2023, nine in 2024, and 11 in 2025.

The U.S. News & World Report recognition is one of several recent awards Enloe Health has garnered. Other awards include the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines – Coronary Artery Disease STEMI Receiving Center – Gold Plus with Target: Type 2 Diabetes Award and the Get With The Guidelines – Coronary Artery Disease NSTEMI Receiving Center Bronze Award. These distinctions highlight Enloe’s continued implementation of quality treatment and care coordination for heart attack patients.
