Nominate a Doctor for Enloe’s 2021 Physician Legacy Award
CHICO, Calif., Oct. 1, 2021 – Community members are invited to make nominations for Enloe Medical Center’s 2021 Physician Legacy Award. Enloe has presented the award annually since 2004 to doctors whose dedication and contributions have made a lasting impact.
Nominations are due by Oct. 22 and can be submitted at www.enloe.org/legacy. The Enloe Medical Executive Committee, made up of physician leaders, will select this year’s recipient based on nominations. The winner will be honored at the annual General Medical Staff meeting in December.
“Physicians have a significant role in health care with particular responsibility and a broad impact,” said Marcia Nelson, M.D., Enloe’s chief medical officer. “Those who have been recognized for their extraordinary work are profoundly touched.”
Nominated doctors should be:
- A respected physician whose leadership at Enloe Medical Center and in the community, both locally and at large, has changed our world for the better.
- A physician who has been a member of the medical staff for more than one year and has active privileges at Enloe Medical Center.
- A physician with excellent clinical knowledge and skill.
Previous recipients are not eligible.
