What will change in 2020 and what does it mean to me?

To improve member experience, we will change our plan administrator and health network provider starting in 2020. HealthNow Administrative Services will replace Keenan TPA as our plan administrator, and Blue Shield of California will replace Anthem Blue Cross as our health network provider.

What differences will I notice?

  • HealthNow Administration Services (HealthNow) will now administer the plan.
  • Contact HealthNow for customer service questions.
  • New ID cards will be mailed. You will receive yours before Jan. 1, 2020.
  • HealthNow will start processing claims, effective Jan. 1, 2020, for all Enloe Medical Center members.
  • Keenan TPA will continue to process claims incurred prior to Jan. 1, 2020.
  • Blue Shield of California will now be our PPO network. (See below for details on how to find a provider.)
  • You will now have access to a Health Advocate. This service offers personalized support that will answer your questions and take on virtually any health care issue — so you and your family get the right care at the right time.
