Learn from Experienced Caregivers
Enloe Medical Center will be offering a residency program in orthopaedic physical therapy. This program is currently undergoing the credentialing process and will become the only residency program in this region of Northern California.
Participants receive extensive on-site education and hands-on training as they work under the supervision of Enloe’s most trusted physical therapists. These experienced caregivers stay up to date on the most current evidence, so they can provide the best-quality care possible — and help the next generation of physical therapists do the same.
Training takes place at the state-of-the-art Enloe Rehabilitation Center, located in Chico, Calif., less than 2 hours north of Sacramento.
A Well-Rounded Program
Our mission: The Enloe Medical Center Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency will improve patient-centered care through quality advanced, evidence based, post-graduate orthopaedic physical therapy training. This training will help physical therapists become experts in their field for the betterment of the local community.
When you’re part of our program, you’ll work with up to three mentors for 12-18 months, allowing you to gain valuable insight from multiple providers — making you a more well-rounded expert clinician.
But the learning doesn’t stop there. You’ll also be in the company of a large staff of experienced caregivers who want you to succeed. These experts are board-certified specialists in several areas, including:
- And more
Several are Fellows of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT).
They’re happy to share their knowledge with you. In fact, many Enloe caregivers have years of experience teaching in other programs, as well as continuing education. Email us at PTresidency@enloe.org for more information.
Enloe caregivers aim to improve patients’ quality of life through personalized, compassionate and evidence-informed care.
Here’s what a few of our therapy patients have said about us:
“The staff is the greatest, most caring we have ever encountered. We really appreciate all that you have done for my family during a difficult time in our lives. A big thanks!”
“This has been such a good experience. Each person on your staff has made us feel welcome and cared for. The care and personal attention to our particular situation made this a much easier recovery process.”
