I am a retired registered nurse. My husband and I moved to Chico more than 43 years ago. I loved my work in both skilled nursing and acute care. While I worked, I was blessed to work in several areas of the hospital as a nurse manager, administrative nurse supervisor, and in the Quality Department as a policy and procedure specialist. I feel blessed by all the experiences I've had. I enjoy working in the gift shop and helping out in the warehouse. When I’m not volunteering, I love to hike in Upper Park. Being on the Volunteer Advisory Board is a privilege and gives me an opportunity to reach out to volunteers and hopefully make their volunteer experience a valuable one.
