The Childbirth Preparation Refresher course is helpful for those who may be nervous about an upcoming labor or delivery experience. It can benefit anyone anticipating a vaginal or cesarean section birth, as well as prior cesarean section patients.
Instructors go over:
- Coping strategies
- Breathing and pushing techniques
- Pain management options
- Repeat cesarean section
- The coach’s supportive role
- And breastfeeding
This birthing care class is held on Thursdays from 5-8 p.m.
