At the end of the program, participants will be able to:
- Define the disease process and patient populations that benefit from continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
- Describe the physiological effects achieved by CRRT.
- Identify bedside and Davita nurses’ roles and responsibilities.
- Describe and demonstrate how to end treatment.
- Explain the results of immobility of the blood pump and other ways to prevent clots.
- Explain and demonstrate how to check chloride levels.
