At the end of the program, the participant will be able to:
- Describe basic cardiac anatomy and electrical conduction as it relates to EKG waveforms.
- Identify common cardiac rhythms on telemetry and rhythm strips.
- Differentiate normal rhythms from abnormal and life-threatening rhythms.
- Recognize STEMI patterns and common mimics on a 12-lead EKG.
- Communicate critical EKG findings promptly and accurately to the clinical team.
