Mock Code Simulations for RNs & RTs

Closed-toed shoes and scrubs are required for simulation participation.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to:

• Describe two treatment assessments of a patient in cardiac arrest with pulseless electrical activity (PEA).
• Describe two treatment assessments of patients in a ventricular fibrillation (V-fib) cardiac arrest.
• Use the Zoll defibrillator to provide defibrillation, cardioversion, and pacing, and as an AED.
• Describe two treatment assessments of patients in an asystolic cardiac arrest.
• Explain the team leader’s responsibility in an asystolic/PEA cardiac arrest.
• Function correctly in assigned team roles based on job classification.
