The OB High Risk Drill will focus on recognition and treatment of a maternal code blue and neonatal code blue.
At the end of the program, participants will be able to:
- Perform recognition and initiate treatment of the maternal cardiac arrest patient.
- Perform effective CPR chest compressions in the code blue patient.
- Perform supportive airway management in the code blue patient.
- Perform manual left uterine displacement during CPR.
- Initiate timely peri-mortem (resuscitative) Cesarean Section delivery of the neonate within 5 minutes of the recognized cardiac arrest.
