Student Opportunities

Clinical observation hours are available at the Enloe Health Rehabilitation Center for students seeking to apply to an academic program or graduate school in physical, occupational, or speech therapy.

If you are interested in participating, please email students@enloe.org with “Rehab Clinical Observations” in the subject line to get started.

Internships allow students to explore career interests, develop skills and gain experience within the health care industry. Internships are only available with contracted colleges and programs.

Please check with your college or program adviser to determine if an internship contract has already been established with Enloe Health. If you have already arranged an internship with an Enloe department, please see the Internship Instructions & Checklist.

Job shadows at Enloe consist of a one-day, 4-hour, observation-only experience. Students are required to find an employee who is willing to be shadowed and receive approval from that employee’s department manager.

To complete the onboarding process, schools must:

• Download and complete the student access configuration form.
• Complete and submit the student onboarding form.
• Ensure the completed student access configuration form is included with the onboarding submission.
• A headshot of all new incoming students should be emailed to ambur.cambern@enloe.org to obtain a badge.

These steps ensure students receive appropriate access to Enloe systems during their clinical rotations. All required forms must be submitted at least one week before orientation. Student and faculty orientation occur at the start of each semester in August and January.

We welcome faculty participating in upcoming clinical rotations and thank you for your vital role in preparing the next generation of health care professionals. To prepare for your clinical experience, please:

• Complete and submit the faculty onboarding form.
• Complete the confidentiality agreement that will be sent to you via DocuSign after you submit your faculty onboarding form. This is required to activate credentials, including Pyxis access.
• Attend the Annual Faculty Meeting, held in August.

All required documentation must be completed at least one week before the start of clinical rotations.
