Thursday, June 20 | Facebook Live: Robotic Surgery Makes Procedure Possible During Camp Fire

noon | Watch it on Facebook

When the Camp Fire broke out on Nov. 8, it became the busiest day in Enloe’s 105-year history. Beds quickly filled up as the hospital took in the 49 patients evacuated from Adventist Health Feather River and other evacuees. Non-emergency surgeries had to be delayed to make space for disaster victims. Luckily, Mark Garrison, D.O., was able to make it possible for a patient in pain to have her scheduled procedure using Enloe’s da Vinci robot. Learn more when Dr. Garrison takes us back to that day and shares how robotic-assisted surgery helped his patient.

Follow Enloe on Facebook to view this broadcast and ask your questions. Here’s to a healthier community!

Less pain, quicker recovery times and less risk of infection. See the leading-edge technology used for these procedures when a traveling version of the da Vinci robotic surgical system comes to Enloe. Stop by to:

  • Maneuver the machine’s unique arms that allow for better precision.
