Enloe Medical Center’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program helps you overcome heart disease. Through exercise and education, you’ll be able to start your journey to recovery to lead a healthier life.

The majority of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program’s participants consist of individuals ranging from their 50s to 90s who have all experienced significant heart issues. The program is led by Enloe’s cardiac rehab team of cardiologists, cardiovascular nurses, exercise physiologists and registered dietitians. What’s more, the entire team focuses on a central goal: conditioning the body to take pressure off the heart.

Our medically supervised program incorporates:

  • Physical conditioning: Take part in tailor monitored exercise sessions.
  • An exercise program: Gain access to regular workouts once you finish your initial conditioning program if you have risk factors and want a medically based physical exercise regimen.
  • Education: Lean about your heart condition and ways to decrease your risk of future problems.
  • Help with nutrition: Improve your eating habits with the help of registered dietitians for a healthier you.
  • Stress management: Gain valuable tools to help you deal with unavoidable stresses in ways that don’t affect your heart health negatively.
  • Smoking cessation: Get assistance “kicking the habit” from your experienced care team.
