Butte County EMS proudly provides advanced life support pre-hospital care and transportation to the community 24 hours a day. If you are having an emergency, dial 911.
While Butte County EMS services the residents of Butte County, Enloe Ambulance continues to serve those living in both Glenn and Colusa County 24 hours a day.
Our ambulances are equipped with 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) machines as part of Enloe's STEMI program. This technology allows paramedics to record the electrical activity of a patient’s heart and send it ahead to the Emergency department. This gives our team time to prepare the right personnel and equipment before the patient even arrives to the hospital.

Is membership an insurance policy?
The membership is not an insurance policy or a substitute for insurance. Members assign their benefits from their insurer to Colusa County Ground Ambulance. Members who are uninsured at the time of service will be responsible to pay Colusa Ground Ambulance up to $500.
What if I have an HMO?
If you are currently in a health maintenance organization (HMO), or other health insurance, the benefits provided by an ambulance plan may duplicate the benefits provided by your HMO or other health insurance. If you have a question regarding whether your HMO or other health insurance offers benefits for ambulance services, you should contact that company directly.
