Breast Cancer Support Group
When you’re going through a challenging time, connecting with others can make all the difference.
Attend the Breast Cancer Support Group to:
- Share your experiences, coping strategies and hopes with others who understand breast cancer.
- Hear from guest speakers who offer expertise, tools and resources to support day-to-day living.
- Get information, reassurance and practical guidance.
Join us the first Thursday of the month. Learn more.
Meet the Facilitator
Melissa Woodall is a skilled oncology social worker and a breast cancer survivor. Since 2017, she has provided support to patients and families facing cancer, building on nearly 20 years of experience in skilled nursing.
Melissa is passionate about social work, particularly in health care settings, where she helps patients and families navigate complex health challenges through meaningful communication that fosters healing and connection.
Colorectal Cancer Support Group
Facilitated by a health care professional, this monthly meeting is meant for colorectal cancer patients at all phases of survivorship and their loved ones.
Attend the Colorectal Cancer Support Group to:
- Gain information and encouragement.
- Share your experiences, coping strategies and hopes.
- Hear from guest speakers with expertise and resources to help improve daily living.

Meet the Facilitator
Haylee Vowles is a registered nurse navigator at Enloe Health. She is passionate about nursing education and therapeutic communication. She works exclusively with colorectal cancer patients.
Creative Healing Art Group
Not sure how to put into words how you are feeling? Discover the healing power of art in this monthly gathering. Attend the Creative Healing Art Group to:
- Grow emotionally and mentally.
- Share a space with others who know what it’s like to deal with serious illness.
No artistic experience is necessary. Join us the third Thursday of the month. Learn more.
Meet the Facilitator
Auburn Menefee is a Butte County native, local therapist and cancer survivor. Auburn has been providing therapy in the community since 2017 and specializes in treating cancer patients and caregivers.
Shifting My Perception
What makes you feel most alive? Does fear of what could happen stop you from enjoying life? Or do you have tips to help others thrive?
Join us as we explore ways to take a fresh look at life! Attend Shifting My Perception to:
- Learn skills you can practice to feel better in the present moment.
- Enjoy activities and find inspiration.
- Take time to reflect in the company of others who want to help each other.
All patients, caregivers and survivors of serious illness are welcome. Join us the second and fourth Thursday of the month. Learn more.

Rebecca Senoglu is the Cancer Support Program Coordinator at Enloe Health. She has been educating and encouraging patients with serious illness for more than 20 years.

Move & Thrive
Move & Thrive is a gentle, therapeutic exercise program. Attend to:
- Regain comfortable range of motion.
- Improve your flexibility.
- Reduce swelling caused by lymphedema.
- Boost your confidence, energy and joy.
It’s for adults of all ages and fitness levels! Please note that a one-time $10 donation to cover class materials is requested but not required. Registration is required.

Advance Care Planning Workshop
Who will make decisions about your care if you are not able to speak for yourself in a medical emergency? Do the people closest to you know what kind of medical care you want — and don’t want?
Attend the Advance Care Planning Workshop to:
- Learn the five easy steps of advance care planning (ACP).
- Understand the different ACP documents like the advance directive and POLST (Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment).
- Get the documents you need.
- Ask questions and receive answers.
- Complete a worksheet of next steps.
- Play the Go Wish game.
