William Carriere is President/CEO of Carriere Family Farms, Inc., in Glenn, CA. He has served his family farm in this capacity since 2007.
Bill is responsible for leading his fifth-generation family business toward sustainable growth and stability for the future. He has been actively working in a managerial role since 1986, when he started as Ranch Manager for Carriere & Sons Partnership. Bill has extensive experience in oversight of farming, processing, sales and marketing, international shipping, and distribution of walnuts and other farm products.
He holds a bachelor’s in agriculture and managerial economics from the University of California, Davis, and graduated with Class 27 of the California Agricultural Leadership Program.
He serves on various boards, including the California Walnut Board, the Glenn County Planning Commission, as Finance Chairman for the St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Willows, and is a proud Alpha Gamma Rho alumnus.
Bill has graciously supported Enloe for years, serving the Enloe Health Board of Trustees from 2015 to 2022. Bill also led as a Tri-Chair of the Enloe Health Gonzales Comprehensive Cancer Center Campaign Committee and is currently the Chair of the Finance Committee.
