Mike Wiltermood, President/Chief Executive Officer

Mike Wiltermood has nearly 30 years of hospital leadership experience and has been the chief executive officer at Enloe Medical Center since July 1, 2009. Prior to that, he was Enloe Medical Center’s chief operating officer for two years, overseeing day-to-day operations.

Mike is the former executive vice president/chief operating officer of Fremont-Rideout Health Group in Yuba City, Calif.  Additionally, during his career, Mike has held executive-level positions at hospitals and health systems in Arizona, Idaho and Washington.

Mike received his Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations and his Master of Science degree in health care administration from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. 

Mike is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and currently serves as a director on the California Hospital Association Board.  He and his wife, Kelly, have four children. 

Brady Haynes, Vice President – Physician Enterprise

Brady Haynes served as director of Physician Development from 2012 until 2014 before accepting the position of vice president of Physician Enterprise in March 2014.

Brady is responsible for all aspects of physician integration services, population health management and health care business development at Enloe Medical Center.

Prior to coming to Enloe, he was widely known as a successful business owner, consultant and entrepreneur, having built several successful companies in Northern California. Brady has more than 25 years of experience in health care and served in the United States Navy as a Corpsman where he was honorably discharged in 1997.

Brady earned a bachelor's degree in business and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in health care. He is completing his doctoral health administration studies at the University of Phoenix. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Carol Linscheid, Vice President/Chief Compliance Officer – Human Resources

Carol Linscheid joined Enloe Medical Center in 2004 as vice president of Human Resources.

Previously she was self-employed as a human resources consultant in Chico and served for 19 years as director of human resources with Blue Shield of California prior to that.

Carol has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Humboldt State University and a master's in organizational management from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Rotary Club of the Chico Sunrise. Carol is also a certified mediator.

Kevin Woodward, Vice President/Chief Financial Officer – Finance

Kevin Woodward joined Enloe Medical Center in December 2010 as the director of Finance. His prior experience includes serving as the chief financial officer of the Fremont-Rideout Health Group, located in Yuba City, Calif., where he was responsible for the organization's financial and accounting services, information and technology services, purchasing and materials management, health information management, and patient financial services.

Kevin began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick and Deloitte, two international assurance, tax, and financial advisory service organizations. He served in the audit function, specializing in health care and financial services with an emphasis in Securities and Exchange Commission and statutory financial reporting clients.

His finance career includes roles of increasing responsibility in various industries, including health care, integrated waste, and environmental services and distribution.

Kevin received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from California State University, Chico, and a master's of health administration from Ohio University. Kevin is also a certified public accountant.

Marcia Nelson, M.D., MMM, FAAFP, FACPE, Vice President – Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Marcia Nelson has been at Enloe Medical Center since September 1989. In addition to being a family practice physician, Dr. Nelson has held many leadership roles within the organization. She  served as vice president of Medical Affairs (VPMA) since July 2005 and became the Chief Medical Officer in 2017.

In this role, Dr. Nelson provides physician perspective to the operations of the organization and develops and supports physician leadership to enhance the quality of care for patients. Her primary focus has been the annual Quality Summit, which highlights the past year’s quality improvement successes and helps set the new quality priorities.

In December 2011, the California Hospital Association awarded Dr. Nelson the Ritz E. Heerman Memorial Award for outstanding contributions to the improvement of patient care in California. In May 2008, she was the first recipient of the Enloe Spirit of Planetree Physician Champion Award. She was a recipient of the Enloe Quality Award in 1997 (as part of the pneumonia quality improvement team) and was the Chico Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Woman in Healthcare in 2004.

Dr. Nelson graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Chico, in 1982 (biological chemistry). She graduated from UCLA School of Medicine in 1986 and completed her family medicine residency in Merced, Calif., in 1989.

She received a master's degree in medical management from USC in 2012, her CPE board certification from the CCMM in 2013 and is a fellow of the American Association for Physician Leadership. Dr. Nelson was elected as a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) in 2000.

Connie Rowe, RN, Vice President – Patient Care Services

Connie Rowe, RN, served as interim vice president of Nursing Services in June 2007 before formally accepting the position of vice president of Nursing Services (now known as vice president of Patient Care Services) in February 2008. She is responsible for all aspects of patient care, policies, procedures and quality at Enloe Medical Center.

Connie worked in numerous capacities at Enloe from 1984 through 1999, including as director of Nursing Quality & Informatics and director of Risk, Quality and Case Management. She was also responsible for the oversight of the administrative supervisors and corporate compliance.

Connie is a member of AONE (American Organization of Nurse Executives) and a registered nurse. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master’s degree in health care administration. She also received certifications in Quality and Case Management.
