Advanced Interventional Gastroenterology
Interventional gastroenterology offers the same opportunity for gastrointestinal inspection while also allowing the practitioner to perform procedures endoscopically that would have previously required invasive surgery. These advanced endoscopic techniques are used for the treatment and palliation of complex benign and malignant processes of the GI tract. Many of these procedures offered at Enloe Medical Center are not offered at other local medical facilities.
• Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
• Endoscopic Ultrasound with Fine Needle Aspiration (EUS with FNA)
