What is the Enloe eGreeting service?

Enloe’s eGreeting service is designed to provide friends and family members a convenient tool to communicate with patients at Enloe Medical Center by using this free service to send good wishes and encouraging messages.

How can I send an e-mail card?

Sending an eGreeting is easy. Simply go to our Send an eGreeting tool at anytime, complete the form and  click “send.” It’s that easy!

Is the e-mail card service free?

Yes! The Enloe eGreeting service is free. It is supported by Enloe Medical Center’s volunteers for patients and their families and friends.

When are the eGreetings delivered to patients?

eGreetings are checked twice every day. They are checked at 10 a.m. and hand-delivered to patients before noon; and they are also checked at 5 p.m. and hand-delivered to patients by 7 p.m. Delivery of e-mail cards may be delayed during holidays. E-mail received after the intended recipient has been discharged will not be delivered.

Can the person I’m sending the eGreeting to send a response e-mail?

The eGreeting service is set up only to receive messages and cannot send outgoing replies. If you have the patient’s full first and last name, you may contact the hospital’s main switchboard at (530) 332-7300 to speak with a patient.

Are the e-mail messages I send confidential?

All messages received are handled confientially. Upon receipt, your eGreeting will be placed in a sealed envelope and delivered directly to the patient’s room.
