Lifeline
Enloe Medical Center is proud to offer Lifeline, a service that enables people to signal for help with the press of a button. The special button is worn on the wrist or around the neck, allowing for easy access in case of a fall or another medical problem that leaves a person unable to get to the phone. Pressing the button puts the wearer in touch with a caring response center staff member, who will then contact the people needed, whether that is family, friends, paramedics, firefighters or the police. Help is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
The Lifeline button will work in or directly around the member's home, within a 200- to 300-foot range.
Service Area and Cost
The service is available in Chico, Durham, Biggs, Gridley, Cohasset, Forest Ranch, Glenn County and Colusa County. The Lifeline service costs $30 to $35 per month, which covers monitoring, plus a one-time $40 charge for installation and set up.
