Enloe Regional Cancer Center
With an integrated array of outpatient services, Enloe Medical Center takes a holistic approach to meeting the needs of cancer patients and their families. The Enloe Regional Cancer Center serves as a convenient location for outpatient treatment.
The Enloe Regional Cancer Center offers medical oncology with doctors' offices on site, a group infusion therapy in a friendly, comfortable outpatient clinic and radiation oncology with the latest technology available.
Integrative and Supportive Services
We create a healing environment with access to many supportive services that can help patients feel better during cancer treatments and survivorship. Services include cancer psychiatry, acupuncture in a group setting to address many of symptoms related to cancer treatment; education and support with classes, a library and special events; and lymphedema therapy with comprehensive care for patients who experience pain and swelling of lympedema.
Physicians And Staff
The Enloe Regional Cancer Center brings together Board-certified physicians -- oncologists, hematologists, radiation oncologists, a breast surgeon -- and a specially trained staff to provide up-to-date treatments for cancer patients. Patients at the cancer center may also be referred to an in-house psychiatrist. Physicians at the Cancer Center may also confer directly with affiliated university faculty who provide additional insight into specialized cancer treatment. Additionally, the Cancer Center offers on-site pharmacy and radiology services.
Electronic Medical Record
An important focus at the Enloe Regional Cancer Center is streamlined treatment and effective communication among medical professionals, patients and families. Enloe has adopted a new computerized electronic medical records system, or EMR, to enable physicians and staff to access the same information on a real-time basis when caring for patients.
