Medical Oncology & Infusion Therapy
Physicians and nurses at the Enloe Regional Cancer Center have specialized training and resources. The medical oncologists and hematologists are experts in chemotherapy and the medical management of both solid tumors and blood disorders. They are assisted in this endeavor by the Outpatient Infusion Therapy Clinic, which offers a wide variety of infusion therapy treatments.

High Level of Nursing Care
The Infusion Therapy Clinic has been recognized nationally by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation for having a high level of oncology-certified nurses. All of the nurses are chemotherapy-certified and dedicated to care and healing. The Infusion Therapy Clinic’s nurses and staff emphasize total patient support, working closely with the patient and family members to coordinate therapeutic, educational and support services.
Healing garden and Music
The Infusion Therapy clinic overlooks our beautiful healing garden, which provides a soothing atmosphere. Colorful blooms and herbs act as a focal highlight in our garden, where the peaceful sounds of fountains, luscious greenery and quiet sitting areas offer an area of reflection for patients and families. The garden provides a welcome diversion for patients and their families.
In addition, volunteer musicians perform several days during the week to promote the healing process and create a relaxing environment for patients, families, visitors and caregivers.
Outpatient Acupuncture Clinics
At our Infusion Therapy Clinic, licensed acupuncturists provide weekly low-cost clinics in a group setting for cancer patients. Treatments are provided in group settings for fatigue, hot flashes, nausea, neuropathy (inability to feel fingers and toes) and xerostomia (dry mouth).
