Enloe Medical Center is looking for new graduate nurses whose nursing philosophy is aligned with our Mission & Vision and who have a PlaneTree focus on patient centered care.
1.) In order to participate in our program you must first apply and accept an offer of employment.
Our New Graduate Program is designed to enhance the transition of new registered nurses into the acute care setting. In combination with one–on–one precepting and working with department educators, new graduate nurses will attend a six week orientation program that is designed to introduce them to their new role. In addition to providing hands on training to equipment and procedures specific to our hospital participants will build a strong social support group that reinforces the team nursing experience.
Our new graduate program provides:
- Planned supplemental hands-on experiences to enrich your skills
- Special opportunities to connect with fellow grads
- Well-coordinated achievement metrics through our Education Center
- A structured program designed around expert clinicians who combine scenario-based equipment practice and review.
Our program typically runs twice a year and usually starts in February and July. During this time, participants will work closely with preceptors on the specific unit while also getting to participate in supplemental experiences that coincide with an individual specialty. Imagine, spending quality time with a wound specialist, practicing IVs with an expert or experiencing a surgery or heart catheterization. By extending to you a breadth of opportunities and special attention through the entire process, Enloe helps you accomplish your objectives and become successful as you transition into your new career.

3.) There is no need to apply for the program itself.
If you do not see a Registered Nurse – New Graduate posting for the department you are interested in then we are unable to accept applications for new graduate nurses at that time. Please check back for future New Graduate postings or apply for another floor that is accepting new grad nurses.
