Lifeline
Enloe Medical Center is proud to offer Lifeline, a service that enables
people to signal for help with the press of a button. The special
button is worn on the wrist or around the neck, allowing for easy
access in case of a fall or another medical problem that leaves
a person unable to get to the phone. Pressing the button puts the
wearer in touch with a caring response center staff member, who
will then contact the people needed, whether that is family, friends,
paramedics, firefighters or the police. Help is available 24 hours
a day, every day of the year.
The Lifeline button will work in or directly
around the member's home, within a 200- to 300-foot range. The service
is available in Chico, Durham, Biggs, Gridley, Cohasset, Forest Ranch,
Glenn County and Colusa County. The Lifeline service costs $30 to $35
per month, which covers monitoring, plus a one-time $40
charge for installation and set up. For further information or to
receive an informational packet, please call 530.332.7538.
