Classes and Events
The Enloe Cancer Center is pleased to offer classes and special
events designed to help our patients and their families learn about
and deal with cancer.
Classes
Classes are held throughout the year via the Cancer Center's BRIDGES
(Bringing Resources, Information and Direction to Greatly Empower
Survivors) program. This series of classes and support groups for
cancer patients and their caregivers, has covered topics such as
care giving, fatigue, nutrition and insurance, and has included
writing workshops and other creative-healing opportunities. For
information on upcoming classes for cancer patients, survivors and
their families, please check the Education
& Support Group listing, or call 530.332.3855.
Events
Events hosted by the Cancer Center have included The
Cranes Project and Cancer Fair, Relay for Life, the Martha Oberlin
Easter Bonnet parade, skin screenings, library discussion groups,
art events and health fairs. See Enloe's Community
Events listing to check for the latest scheduled events, or
call 530.332.3855.
Healing Art Gallery
Located in the Cancer Center lobby, the Healing Art Gallery displays
artwork by and for those touched by cancer. The exhibits change
quarterly, an event often accompanied by a special reception. The
gallery, free and open to the public, is one of many ways the Cancer
Center and other caregivers around the country have been using art
to help patients feel better. For information about the
current exhibit, stop by the Cancer Center at 265 Cohasset Rd.,
in Chico, or call 530.332.3855. Any upcoming artist receptions and
the latest exhibits are posted on the Enloe Community
Events calendar.
