Prompt Care Clinics
Some medical injuries don't require a visit to the hospital emergency
room. That's why Enloe Medical Center established two Prompt Care
Clinics.
Both locations are staffed and equipped to evaluate and treat medical
illnesses and injuries that need punctual attention but are not
life threatening. Experienced in minor emergency care, physicians
and nurse practitioners are on hand to assess and treat problems
such as the flu and colds, cuts, sore throats, earaches, sprains,
fractures, back strains, bronchitis and minor burns. On-site X-ray
is also available at both locations, and the clinic at California
Park offers pharmacy services.
The Prompt Care clinics do not provide ongoing primary care. Instead
they treat patients who temporarily do not have a primary care physician,
are unable to reach their doctor, or need urgent care without an
appointment. Patients with life-threatening illnesses should seek
care right away at Enloe's Emergency
Department.

Both Prompt Care Clinics accept Medicare/MediCal and most forms
