Clean Start, Healthy Beginnings 
Clean Start, Healthy Beginnings focuses on promoting healthy families
in Butte County. The program employs a registered nurse and medical
social worker to assist women in achieving optimal health during
pregnancy and helping parents meet their children's health care
needs.
Services include:
- Medical case management
- Health screenings
- Education
- Community outreach
- The Enloe Children's Health and Resource Center, which offers free classes, discussion groups and information. For a calendar, visit www.enloe.org/classes.
We help parents find resources for their children's:
- Health and dental care
- Education
- Nutrition, growth and development
- Adjustments to changes in the family.
We can also assist parents in locating resources for:
- Breastfeeding support
- Parenting
- Safe and affordable housing
- Concerns with their children's behavior
Clean Start, Healthy Beginnings is offered at no cost, regardless
of income, to at-risk families with children from newborn to age
5. It is a grant-funded program through the Butte County Children
and Families Commission and Enloe Medical Center. For more
