Scholarship Program
Enloe is committed to providing the resources to encourage and develop our staff through scholarships which support highly qualified people entering the medical field and which encourage those already here to continue on their educational path. Our goal is to have the most skilled, competent and engaged staff to serve our patients with compassionate and quality care every day.
Enloe Foundation offers up to 15 scholarships each spring and we encourage all Enloe Employees to apply.
As part of 2011 Caregivers Week recognition, Enloe Foundation awarded 15 scholarships totaling $13,500 to the following Enloe employees to support furthering their education:
- Nichole Eisermann - Claudine O. Bell and Helen L. Head Scholarship
- James Pippin - Janis Kay Anderson Scholarship
- Amber Genato and Sierra Wood - Golf Tournament Scholarship
- Griselda Perez, Amber Webb, and Tiffany Leonard - Peggy Steel Nursing Scholarship
- Katelyn Duncan and Carol Kemp - Men’s Associates Scholarship
- Diane Wooldridge, Eileen Kennedy, Erin Parisio and Leslie McDonald - Enloe Employee Scholarship
- Dawn Downey - Dr. Doug and Zinita Benson Trauma/Emergency Surgery Employee Scholarship
- Erin Zilch - Nancy and Gary Coelho Surgery Employee Scholarship
The scholarships are made possible by generous donations from community members, employees and volunteers. A committee of Foundation Board members and community members selected the recipients. Fundraising for these scholarships will continue to be a priority this year.
