Enloe Foundation: Board of Directors

Since 1986, Enloe Foundation, a not-for-profit 501 [c] 3 organization guided by a community volunteer board of directors, has put the generosity of its donors to work supporting Enloe Medical Center. Their philanthropic spirit has lead to advances in health care technology, health care facility improvements, professional and staff training along with community health care programs. People whose lives have been touched by our care, know the vital role of Enloe Medical Center in restoring health and hope.

Kenneth N. Derucher, ChairKenneth N. Derucher
Chair

Dr. Derucher is the former Dean of the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Construction Management at CSUC. Ken joined the board in 2009 and currently serves on the New Beginning Campaign Committee and the Enloe Golf Tournament Committee.

 

 

Laverna Hubbard, Vice Chair LAVERNA HUBBARD
Vice Chair

Laverna is President of Medical Business Solutions, a practice management company, and Executive Director of North State Radiology. She joined the board in 2010 and serves on the New Beginning Campaign Committee. In addition to Enloe, Laverna has been on the board of the Chico Chamber of Commerce, Soroptimist International, and the California Medical Assistant Association.

 

Christie Chrysler, SecretaryCHRISTIE CHRYSLER
Secretary

Christie is a community volunteer leader who has served as a Playhouse Project Chair and committee volunteer since the project’s inception. Joining as a board member in 2009, Christie served as the Co-Chair of the 2010 Enloe Gala Committee. Christie is also a leader at the Turner Print Museum. j

 

Liz FlemingLIZ FLEMING

Liz is a retired CSUC educator who has served as a member of the board since 2003. A founding volunteer of Enloe Cancer Connections, Liz serves on the Planetree Leadership Committee, Enloe Foundation Scholarship Committee, Chico Community Scholarship Association and North Valley Health Education Foundation. She is also a leader with PEO and the Bidwell Presbyterian Church.

 

Dan HerbertDan HerberT

Dan is the co-owner & President of Sheraton Real Estate Management, Inc. and is affiliated with the North Valley Property Owners Association. Dan became a member of the board in 2009 and serves on the New Beginning Campaign Committee, Enloe Foundation Scholarship Committee, and Enloe Foundation Golf Tournament Committee. A member of Chico Noon Rotary, Dan formerly served on the Chico City Council and as Mayor of Chico.

 

Sandy KalinowskiSandy Kalinowski

Sandy is a community volunteer leader who is retired from the real estate industry. Joining the board in 2006, Sandy serves on the New Beginning Campaign Committee, the Enloe Foundation Scholarship Committee and served on the 2010 Enloe Gala Committee. 

 

 

Tom Lando

Tom is the Principal/Owner of Lando and Associates, a planning, administration and management consulting firm. He previously served the City of Chico as City Manager, Executive Director of the Chico Redevelopment Agency and Airport Manager, among other director positions. Tom is as an Ex-Officio member of the Foundation Board due to his role as Chair of the Enloe Board of Trustees. He has a Doctorate and Master's Degree in Public Administration, and a Master's Degree in City Planning.

 

Melisse LarrabeeMelisse Larrabee

Melisse Larrabee is a shareholder in Pantaleoni Ranch, Inc. and a partner in Butte Vista Orchards. She joined the board in 2006 and was Secretary / Treasurer in 2007 & 2008. She currently serves on the Enloe Foundation Golf Tournament Committee, and was Chair in 2008. Melissse was also Chair of Enloe 2000 in 1995. Melisse has served as a leader at Bidwell Presbyterian Church and Butte Creek County Club.

 

Michael MarksMichael Marks

Mike is the President of Michael Marks Insurance Agency. He joined the board in 1996 and has served as Vice Chair previously. Involved professionally as a leader of the North Valley Chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters, Mike also serves the community as a founding board member of the Seneca Foundation in Chester, and is a member of the Chico Noon Rotary Club.

 

Tom MartinTom Martin

Tom farms almonds and is retired as President of Durham Pump, Inc. Joining the board in 2006, Tom is the Tri-Chair of the New Beginning Campaign and a former Vice Chair of the board. Tom’s various services to the community include leadership on the board of Northern California Farm Credit, Chico Noon Rotary and the President's Advisory Board at CSUC.

 

Renee McAmisRENÉE McAMIS

Renée is a community volunteer leader that joined the board in 2007 and has previously served as secretary. She was the inaugural Co-Chair of the 2009 Enloe Gala Committee and Gala Committee member in 2010. She is very involved in many community causes including the Children's Home Society State Board, Gateway Science Museum and a long time member of Omega Nu.

 

Susan R. MinasianSUSAN R. MINASIAN

Susan is retired from a career in law in both the corporate and government sectors. She became a member of the board in 2009 and serves on the Enloe Medical Center Finance Committee and the 2010 Enloe Gala Committee. Susan is currently a member of the City of Chico Planning Commission and active participant with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Chico.

 

Suzy RoachSUZY ROACH

Suzy recently retired from a 32 year co-ownership of PIP Printing. She joined the board in 2003 and serves on the New Beginning Campaign Committee. She was the 1988 President of the Chamber of Commerce and has served CSUC as Chair on the Associates Board and President's Advisory Board. Suzy is a member of Omega Nu and is on the Butte College Foundation Board.

 

Patti SouzaPATTI SOUZA

Patti is the Owner, Vice-President and General Mgr. of Butte County Credit Bureau. She joined the board in 2009 and serves on the New Beginning Campaign Committee. Born at Enloe Medical Center, Patti has lived in Chico her entire life.

 

 

Richard SteinRICHARD STEIN

Richard "Dick" Stein is President and Owner of H J Promotional Products, and a Professor at CSUC in Media. He became a board member in 2007 after years of service to Enloe as Golf Chair/Co-chair 2000-03, 2009 and 2010 Tri-Chair. Dick serves on the New Beginning Campaign Committee and the Enloe Foundation Scholarship Committee. He serves many charities as master of ceremonies.

 

Lance D. TennisLance D. Tennis

Lance is a rice farmer in Butte County. Joining the board in 2001, Lance is a former Chair of the Board and is currently a Tri-Chair for the New Beginning Campaign Committee. In addition, Lance serves on the Western Canal Water District Board of Directors, Association of Rice Marketing Co-op Board of Directors, and Evangelical Free Church of Chico Church Council.

Chief Executive Officer

Mike joined Enloe Medical Center as Chief Operating Officer in 2007 prior to becoming CEO in 2009. In this capacity, he serves as an ex-officio member of the Enloe Foundation Board of Directors and the Enloe Medical Center Board of Trustees. Mike has extensive experience in the health care field and is currently working to complete his doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University.

 

Myron Machula, Chief Financial Officer

MYRON MACHULA

Chief Financial Officer

Myron joined Enloe Medical Center in 2010 and serves as an ex-officio board member. He has worked in health care for nearly three decades, and has experience in finance, operations, consulting and strategic planning after starting his career in teaching and the banking industry. Myron has a BA degree in mathematics and earned his MBA from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.

  

Laura Hennum

Vice President

Laura joined Enloe Medical Center in 2006. She serves as an ex-officio member of the board. Laura has nearly 20 years of experience in health care. At Enloe, Laura provides administrative oversight for the Foundation and Volunteer Services, Planetree, Patient Service Excellence, Bariatric Program, Stroke Program, Cardiac Services, Cancer Center, Rehabilitation Services, Post Acute Services and Marketing & Communications.
