Wear Blue & Green on April 15, 2016
In honor of National Blue & Green Day, Enloe Medical Center is partnering with Donor Network West to educate and encourage people to sign up to become organ donors. Wear blue and green on Friday, April 15, 2016, and stop by our informational table to learn more about how to enroll as an organ and tissue donor. We will be outside of Enloe’s Allspice Café from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Allspice Cafe is on the lower level of Enloe Medical Center, 1531 Esplanade in Chico (enter at West 5th Ave. and Magnolia).

Committed to Organ Donation
Enloe Medical Center is committed to organ donation. Donor Network West recognized Enloe in 2015 with a Gold Medal for very engaged participation in Phase IV of the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) Hospital Campaign. Launched in August 2014, this Workplace Partnership for Life initiative connects organ, eye, and tissue donation organizations with hospitals to create engaging donation activities within the hospital’s facilities. Hospitals accumulate points based on the activities they complete which include registration drives, social media campaigns, and flag raising ceremonies. Thirty of the 175 hospitals in Donor Network West’s service area were very engaged in the campaign. Enloe was among the top 13 to receive the most points.
