Community Benefit Report
Enloe Medical Center's Community Benefit Report looks at services and activities that go above and beyond the daily care of patients, extending care into the community. We are proud of our tradition of service to Chico, Calif., Butte County and the surrounding communities. In the spirit of our mission, we are committed to responding to the community's health needs. As a locally owned and operated non-profit organization, Enloe Medical Center exists to improve the lives of the members of our community.

Community Health Needs Assessment
Download Enloe Medical Center's 2016 Community Health Needs Assessment (Adobe PDF, 2.0 MB). The primary purpose of conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) is to objectively look at the current health needs of a community, along with existing resources available to address identified needs, then create an action plan to guide work over the next three years. The goals of the 2016 CHNA were to:
- Evaluate the current health needs facing Butte County residents
- Invite feedback about priorities currently being addressed and effectiveness of those efforts
- Assess any other health needs not being addressed
- Create a community-based action plan supporting community health
- Inspire increased collaboration among agencies
The attached 2016 CHNA report includes an overview of the data gathering process used in this year's assessment, key findings from focused discussion groups and the recent Community Health Assessment (CHA) conducted by the Together We Can! Healthy Living in Butte County partnership, and an outline of our action plan for the coming years. In addition, the report includes a summary of the 2013 CHNA action plan and response.
